Lil Durk Has Now Won His First GRAMMYs & Award after 4 career nominations.

Lil Durk (real name Durk Derrick Banks) was born and raised in Chicago. His birthday is Oct. 19, 1992, and his height is 5’7″. The rapper got his start on YouTube and MySpace, and to Def Jam in 2012. 

I feel like Durk getting a Grammy is huge and overdue. Drill music changed rap, Chicago influenced the entire world for 10+ years, and a genre.

His debut studio album, ‘Remember My Name,’ was released in June 2015, and peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard 200.

Lil Durk Becomes First Chicago Drill Rapper To Win A Grammy With His Song “All My Life” Ft J Cole today. They were just telling stories of what their reality was in the song. Trenches really got a Grammy. “All My Life” wins the Best Melodic Rap Performance category!

This was underrated but most deserving Grammy.
